Questions people ask
Shipping
Every poster is printed after you order it. Shipping is free on every size, framed or not.
United States
We print, frame and pack in California. Your poster reaches your door in 4 to 8 business days from the day you order. That is 2 to 3 days in the lab and 2 to 5 days with the carrier. The date at the top of this page is the latest day we expect it, if you order today.
Other countries
Outside the US we ship the print without a frame. Allow 10 to 30 business days. Import duty or VAT, where your country charges it, is not included and is paid to the carrier on delivery.
Tracking
We email you a tracking link the day it ships. If it is not there, check spam before you write to us.
Late, lost or wrong address
Check the address before you pay. If you spot a mistake, write to us straight away and we fix it if the poster has not shipped. If a parcel is lost, we reprint it or refund you in full.
Returns
Each poster carries your names, your place and your date, so nobody else can use it. For that reason we do not take back a print that arrived as you ordered it.
If something is wrong
If it arrives damaged, printed wrong, or not what your receipt says, email a photo within 30 days of delivery. We reprint it or refund you, whichever you prefer. You do not need to send it back.
Mistakes in your text
We print the file exactly as the preview shows it, so read the names and the date once more before you pay. If you notice a typo after ordering, write to us right away. If the poster has not gone to print yet, we correct it or cancel and refund in full. Once it is printed we cannot.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with. Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days.
EU and UK customers
Goods made to your specification are exempt from the 14 day right of withdrawal (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Nothing here limits any right you have under the consumer law of your own country.

Who you are buying from
Meridian is the trading name of Yair Sivan (סיון יאיר), a sole proprietor registered in Israel, at 6 Natan HaNavi Street, Beit Shemesh 9931922, Israel. Email studio@meridianplate.com. We reply within one business day.
Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars and include shipping. Launch prices apply to orders placed by midnight Pacific time on October 31, 2026. After that the regular price shown next to them applies. You pay once, at checkout, through PayPal. Card details go to PayPal and never reach us. Your statement shows PAYPAL *MERIDIANPLATE.
Your order
The order is accepted when your payment goes through and we email the confirmation. If we cannot make or deliver it, we cancel and refund in full.
Your text
You choose the names, the place and the date, and we print them as the preview shows. Please only use text you have the right to use. We may refuse an order with offensive content and refund it.
Delivery and returns
Delivery times are in Shipping and what we do when something goes wrong is in Returns. Both are part of these terms. Risk passes to you on delivery.
The map
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License. The poster design is ours. Buying a poster does not let you resell the design.
Liability and law
Our liability for an order is limited to what you paid for it, except where the law does not allow a limit. These terms are governed by the law of Israel. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country.
Privacy
We collect what we need to make your poster and deliver it, and nothing else. The controller is Yair Sivan, trading as Meridian (address in Terms). Questions or requests: studio@meridianplate.com.
What we collect
The text for your poster (names, place, date), your email, your delivery name and address, and the order itself. PayPal sends us a payment reference. We never see your card number.
If you type your email at checkout and leave before ordering, we keep it with your design and may send you one email with a link back to it. It has an unsubscribe link, and we send nothing else about that order. We do not send this email to anyone in Europe.
Looking up your place
When you type a place, our server looks it up using Google Maps and OpenStreetMap services. The request comes from our server, so they see only the place name and not who you are.
Who else sees it
PayPal takes the payment. Lumaprints, our lab in California, receives your name, address and the print file to make and ship US orders. Printify does the same for orders outside the US. The carrier gets the delivery address. Cloudflare runs our network and email. None of them may use your data for anything else.
Measurement and ads
We set no cookies and store nothing on your device. We count visits on our own server with an identifier that is erased every night. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal turns this off.
If you arrived from one of our ads in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, we may record how the page was used (scrolling, taps, what was on screen) to find what gets in the way. Anything typed into a field is masked before it leaves your browser. The recording stays on our server and is deleted after 14 days.
When you buy, and you live outside the EU, UK and Switzerland, we tell Meta and Pinterest that a purchase happened, with your email and ZIP scrambled into a one way code so they can match it to an ad you saw. We never send this for buyers in Europe. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records for seven years, because Israeli tax law requires it. A saved design, or a design left at checkout, for 120 days. Server logs for 30 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Write to studio@meridianplate.com and we answer within 30 days, usually within one. The only thing we cannot delete early is the order record we must keep for tax.
