Why a map works for long distance
Long distance couples collect places: two cities, an airport or two, the station where one of you always waits. A map of the place you first met in person puts the start of all that on the wall.
It also travels well as a gift. It ships flat in a tube or framed in a box, straight to their address, with your note and without the receipt. If you both want one, the second copy of the same poster is 30% off.
Ideas for long distance couples
The arrivals gate
Type the airport or the station where you first saw each other. Plenty of long distance stories start at baggage claim.
One for each apartment
Order two copies of the same poster, one for your place and one for theirs. The second copy is 30% off at checkout.
The city you will share
If you are closing the distance, map the street you are moving to and put the move date on it.
Ship it to them
Use their address at checkout. The box has no prices in it, and you can add a short printed note.

Questions
Can I ship it to a different address?
Yes. Enter their address as the shipping address. The receipt goes to your email, not in the box.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. Outside the US the print ships without a frame and takes 10 to 30 business days. Your country may charge import duty or VAT on delivery.
Will it look like the preview?
Yes. The preview in the editor is the file we print, at 300 dpi. At checkout you can open it full size and read every letter.
What if the place is not on today's maps?
Type it the way you remember it. If it is gone (a bar that closed, a street that was renamed), we show the town around it and the poster keeps the name you typed. For the exact spot, type its old street address.
When does it arrive?
Each poster is made to order and printed in California. US orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days, framed or not. We email tracking the day it ships.
