Your star map, framed

Every frame arrives assembled, with clear acrylic in front, the print mounted on foam board so it stays flat, and a sawtooth hanger on the back. Widths: black and gold 3 in, driftwood gray 3 in, espresso and gold 2.56 in, distressed brown and gold 1.125 in, black, white, oak and espresso 0.875 in. Black and white are solid wood. We deliver frames to US addresses only.

Thick matte fine art paper (230 gsm, acid free), printed with pigment inks. It does not shine under a lamp. Without a frame the print ships rolled in a tube and fits any standard frame of the same size.

From the place and the date you type. We place every star brighter than magnitude 5.8 from the Yale Bright Star Catalog as it stood over that spot at about 9 in the evening, local sun time. Your star is the brightest named star that was at least 45 degrees above you, or the brightest one that was up.

Each poster is made to order in California. US orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days, framed or not, and we email you tracking when it ships. Outside the US we ship the print without a frame, in 10 to 30 business days.

It carries your names and your date, so we do not take back a poster that arrived as ordered. If it arrives damaged or printed wrong, email a photo within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it or refund you. You do not need to send it back. See the returns policy.
