How the heart is drawn
The heart is not a frame laid on top of a map. The streets are cut to the shape, so the edge follows the outline and the place you typed sits in the middle.
A close address gives dense blocks inside the heart. A park or a waterfront gives open shapes with roads around them. Try both in the editor, it redraws in a second or two.

Which colors are there?
Six color sets: cream, sage, blush, navy, noir and clay. Each one changes the paper tone, the streets and the text together.
Will it look like the preview?
Yes. The preview in the editor is the file we print, at 300 dpi. At checkout you can open it full size and read every letter.
What if the place is not on today's maps?
Type it the way you remember it. If it is gone (a bar that closed, a street that was renamed), we show the town around it and the poster keeps the name you typed. For the exact spot, type its old street address.
When does it arrive?
Each poster is made to order and printed in California. US orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days, framed or not. We email tracking the day it ships.
