How it works
- Type the placeA café, a park, a street or an address. The real streets around it draw into the poster.
- Add the names and the datePick the shape (heart, circle, arch or full sheet), the colors and the size.
- See it, then orderThe preview is the file we print, at 300 dpi. Printed in California and shipped to your door or theirs.
Why map the first date
Where you met and where you first went out are often two different places. The first date is the one you planned, the one you were nervous about.
Type the restaurant, the bar or the park and the streets around it draw in. If it closed years ago, the old street address puts the map in the same spot, and the poster still says the name you typed.

A restaurant
Type the name and the city. If it closed, use the old street address and keep the name on the poster.
A walk
Pick where it started, a park entrance or a bridge. A wider area works well with the circle shape.
Met online
The first date is where the online part ended. That is the place to map.
Exact date unknown
Use the month and year you remember, or the date you became official. The poster does not ask for proof.

Questions
Can I put a different date than the first date?
Yes. The date line is whatever date you choose.
How big is the area on the map?
It depends on the size of the place you type. A street address gives a close in view of the blocks around it, a neighborhood gives a wider one.
Will it look like the preview?
Yes. The preview in the editor is the file we print, at 300 dpi. At checkout you can open it full size and read every letter.
What if the place is not on today's maps?
Type it the way you remember it. If it is gone (a bar that closed, a street that was renamed), we show the town around it and the poster keeps the name you typed. For the exact spot, type its old street address.
When does it arrive?
Each poster is made to order and printed in California. US orders arrive in 4 to 8 business days, framed or not. We email tracking the day it ships.
