Why the bar
Nobody plans to meet their person at a bar on a Tuesday, which is why the story is fun to tell.
The map keeps the place even after the bar closes. That happens more than you would think, and the poster becomes the only thing with its name on it.
If the bar is gone
Use the old address
Bars close and change names. If the search does not find it, type the street address it was at. The streets are still there.
Or the corner
Two cross streets and the city also work, for example Larimer and 15th, Denver.

The bar closed years ago. Can you still map it?
Yes. Type the street address it used to have, or the nearest intersection. The map is built from today's streets around that point.
Will the bar name show on the map?
The map shows streets, parks and water, without business names. Write the bar name in your own line under the names.
Will it look like the preview?
Yes. The preview in the editor is the file we print, at 300 dpi. At checkout you can open it full size and read every letter.
What if the place is not on today's maps?
Type it the way you remember it. If it is gone (a bar that closed, a street that was renamed), we show the town around it and the poster keeps the name you typed. For the exact spot, type its old street address.
